Computer Support Services, Inc. has created this list of technical specifications to make it easier for you to start using The MallMaster as soon as possible. This software is a Microsoft Windows compatible product. We don't recommend using MallMaster with a Home Edition or with the Microsoft "ME" Edition. This software should only be used with Professional editions. We have tested it with the following MS Windows operating systems:

• Windows XP • Windows Vista • Windows 7 • Windows 10

Memory Requirements

In order to provide adequate performance, your computer memory must run its operating systems and the applications running at the same time. In general, MallMaster functions adequately using the technical specifications for the given operating systems plus the Microsoft Office Suite. For Windows XP, this would be about 512 MB.

Hard Drive Space

The MallMaster requires 100 MB for the program plus space for data storage. Our technical specifications recommend you have at least 0.5 GB of computer Hard Drive space available for use by the MallMaster. This is quite small for today's applications.


Equipment Supported

The MallMaster supports all common devices also supported by MS Windows, such as monitors, keyboards, and mice. It also supports common devices used in a point-of-sale (POS) application, such as cash drawers, bar code scanners, and 4" roll paper printers (receipt printers) for receipt printing. The MallMaster has been developed to operate with "off-the-shelf" standard personal computers. We also offer the MallMaster bundled with POS computer systems that require far less counter space. These are common in retail environments.

Other Application Integrations

The MallMaster uses Microsoft Excel, if installed on the host computer. Most of the data access screens in MallMaster allow viewed data to be transferred to Excel with one or two mouse clicks. The MallMaster also uses Microsoft Outlook, if installed on the host computer. This program allows for individual and mass emailing to customers and dealers with attachments. It also allows emailing dealer sales activity as well as dealer statements.
